Short-Term Combined Intake of Vitamin B2 and Vitamin E Decreases Plasma Homocysteine Concentrations in Female Track Athletes

It was divided into three intervention periods (28 mg/day), (60 + intake, each period 14 days. samples were collected before after period, concentration measured. Plasma significantly decreased all periods, but maximum lowering effect obtained used combination. The administration might have lowered level by maximizing catalytic activity MTHFR; suppressed cell oxidation, increasing efficiency folate level. propose combined intake as effective nutrients reduce with MTHFR polymorphisms.
